11:00 am | Great Canadian Lumberjack Show The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show is a showcase of both traditional and current loggersports events. |
12:00 pm | Big Foot Race Join us in front of the stage for a big foot race. It's similar to a three legged race, but it requires three people working together using a single pair of long feet. |
12:00 pm | Viking Re-enactment Come see how the Vikings used to live. Our Vikings are located at the north end of the Mill Pond. |
12:30 pm | Carnival Welcome Ceremony, Featuring Local Dignitaries Join us at the Carnival Stage to formally kick off the 2023 Richmond Hill Winter Carnival. Local dignitaries will join Ookpik and friends to get things started. We'll high light events of the weekend so you don't miss a thing! |
12:45 pm | Elementary School Hockey Medal Presentation Local elementary schools participated in a hockey tournament in the weeks before Carnival. We'll be inviting our first and second place teams to the stage to receive their medals. |

1:30 pm | Wing Eating Contest Eight hungry attendees will be selected from all of the applications submitted by noon on Carnival Saturday. Be sure to get the info and register ahead of time! All contestants must 19 years of age or over. |
2:00 pm | Falconry Demonstration Falcon experts from The Ontario Falconry Centre will be providing and exciting and educational falconry demonstrations. This event takes place on the Carnival Stage. Please leave your chickens at home, the falcons are excellent hunters! |
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm | Indigenous Led Activities We have several Indigenous led activities taking place in the Carnival tent. These events include Indigenous Winter Tea, Traditional Hand Drumming, and Crafts. |
2:30 pm | Viking Re-enactment Come see how the Vikings used to live. Our Vikings are located at the north end of the Mill Pond. |

4:00 pm | Falconry Demonstration Falcon experts from The Ontario Falconry Centre will be providing and exciting and educational falconry demonstrations. |

5:00 pm - 7:30 pm | Spaghetti Dinner We start serving spaghetti at 5pm and last call is at 7:30. Dinner includes spaghetti, meat balls, a drink and desert. All for $12. |
