| Amateur Band Contest |
| Come on out to a night of local musical talent at the Carnival. We have 5 bands working hard for your applause and competing for prizes. You'll hear 3 or 4 songs from each band, and then it's on to the next. There's nothing like the Carnival stage for live outdoor music.

| Big Dog Obedience Show |
| On Sunday at 1 pm, world famous marching dog trainer Norm McLeod will once again be hosting his Big Dog Obedience Show. Bring your dog for some skills training and fun fun fun. There will be prizes for all dogs who come with a human. |
| Carnival Button Draw |
| Help support the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival by purchasing a $2 souvenir button. Buttons can be purchased at Municipal offices, local participating merchants, local participating elementary schools and at the Mill Pond during the Carnival. You don't need to be at the Carnival during the draw as the winning numbers will be posted in the local paper and on our website. Each Carnival Button has a unique number and on Carnival Sunday the winning button numbers will be drawn. Button Prizes are:

| Colouring Contest |
| This is the eleventh annual Carnival Colouring Contest and it promises to be even bigger and better this year. We are expecting over 1000 entries! Deciding the winners will be difficult, but our colouring judges feel confident they will be up to the challenge. Winners will be announced on Carnival Saturday at 5 pm. |
| Expression Session at the 1/2 Pipe |
| Saturday and Sunday we will feature an Expression Session and Competition at the Carnival Half Pipe. We will be offering hot prizes and the chance to really show 'em what you got. So come on out, bring your deck and a helmet ...Be Cool...Don't be a Fool... No inverts allowed. |
| Muskoka Wildlife |
| Children young and old will enjoy seeing the Muskoka Wildlife interactive show on stage.
Don’t miss Woodrow the beaver, Flower the skunk, Barfalowmew the turkey vulture, and many more. Each animal has a unique story, come out and learn about each one. |
| Pancake Breakfast in the Carnival Tent |
| Come and help us cultivate 'neighbourliness' and revive the ancient practice of feasting. There will be a festive mood among the populace. Pancakes, sausage, back bacon and Starbucks coffee served by Viking Warriors. How's that for a wakeup call? Enjoy the world famous Carnival pancake breakfast on Sunday morning from 9 am to noon. |
| Richmond Hill Ringette Association Game |
| The Richmond Hill Ringette Association has been a part of the community for almost 20 years and it would like to celebrate its involvement in the community by hosting a demonstration ringette game during the winter carnival. Some of our Bunny and Novice aged players will play a short game to demonstrate the sport before opening the game up to any children between the ages of 5-9 who want to give the game a try. All that is needed is a helmet and of course warm clothing. See you there. |
| Rock'n'roll Favourites |
| The Glenn Marais Band will be performing your favourite rock'n'roll classics on the Carnival stage. |
| The Lou Moore Band |
| Forget that 'New Country' rage, this is Lou Country! Lou Moore's high energy mix of country classics, todays country and Lou originals is guaranteed to keep you toes tapping. If you haven't had the pleasure of seeing Lou Moore and Friends on stage, don't miss it! |
