Amateur Band Contest
Five bands battle it out - only one can win!

This years competing bands are:

Carnival Button Draw
Help support the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival by purchasing a $2 souvenir button. Buttons can be purchased at Municipal Offices, local participating merchants, local participating elementary schools, and at the Mill Pond during the Carnival.
Each Carnival button has a unique number and on Carnival Sunday the winning button numbers will be drawn. This years prizes include:
  • Apple iPod Touch
  • 2 Gold Toronto Maple Leafe Tickets, March 2nd, against the Hurricanes (prize must be claimed by February 21st, 2010)
  • Ultimate Power Tool Kit (approx. $300), Sponsored by Canadian Tire Richmond Hill
  • Bauer Supreme Skates, Sponsored By King Henry's Arms
You don't need to be at the Carnival during the draw, as the winning nubmers will be posted in the local paper, here on our website, and on the Carnival hotline (905-771-5478).
Prizes must be claimed by May 1st, 2010, unless otherwise noted.

Dog Obedience Show At The North End Of The Pond
Bring your humans for a fun afternoon of human obedience training. members of the Richmond Hill K9 Klub will be on hand to assist. Pet Value will be there with goody bags.

High Times Skydivers
Watch the skydivers as they make their way down to the ice from the sky! Weather permitting, of course.

Shaping wonderful critters and creatures from ice, Doug Wedel is quite the artist. Fun for the whole family to watch!

Jr. Elementary School Hockey Finals
The Junior teams that made it to the finals now battle it out on ice at the Carnival. Will your schools team be the winner?

Kids Skating Races
Grouped by by age, kids race the distance on the ice while skating.

Muskoka Wildlife
Children young and old will enjoy seeing the Muskoka Wildlife interactive show on stage. Don't miss Woodrow the Beaver, Flower the skunk, Barfalowmew the turkey vulture, and many more. Each animal has a unique story - come out and learn about each one!

Pancake Breakfast In The Carnival Tent
Join us for our traditional pancake breakfast. Enjoy pancakes, sausages, peameal bacon and Starbucks hot chocolate and coffee served in the Carnival tent. Don't worry if there is a line-up - our Magician will be entertaining you with prodigious feats of prestidigitation while your breakfast is cooked.

Tiny Tots Costume Party
Dressed up young kids come up on the stage to compete for the best costume.
