The Richmond Hill Winer Carnival Committee, in partnership with the Richmond Hill Camera Club presents the annual Photography Competition!
Amateur photographers of all ages are invited to submit digital photographs taken at the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival in the following categories:
- Carnival Hightlights
- Something Funny
- Pets At The Carnival
Guidelines:
- Images must be taken at the 2010 Richmond Hill Winter Carnival.
- Each entrant may submit a maximum of three images – 1 per category.
- Images must be in JPEG format.
- Either colour or black and white images are acceptible.
- The longest side of the image must not be more than 1024 pixels.
- Entries must be received by midnight, Friday February 12th, 2010.
All amatuer photographs are eligible.
Judging Criteria:
- Quality of work.
- Appropriateness to the Winter Carnival categores as listed above.
- Photographs must have been taken at the Winter Carnival between February 5th and February 7th, 2010.
- By entering this contest, you attest that the images you have entered were taken by you and comply with the above guidelines.
- No commercial application of your images is expected; consequently no model releases are being required.
All images submitted become the property of the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival Committee. Judging of the images will be carried out by a Richmond Hill Camera Club committee. Decisions of the judges will be final.
First and second prizes in each category will be awarded.
Instructions:
- For each image, seperately send an email to Robert Fowler at the Richmond Hill Camera Club with the image attached, containing:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The category of the image
- The title of your image
- Don’t forget to attach your image!
- Images must be received for judging by midnight on Friday, February 12th 2010.
